5 Ways to Keep Long-Distance Relationships Strong

Do you ever feel like the distance is unbearable?

You can talk on the phone or video chat but it's just not the same as them being there in person, to touch, to hold, to laugh with, to kiss? Long-distance relationships are a reality many of us face when life moves our partners away from us for one reason or another.

Maybe it's school, work, military, health, or financial constraints keeping you apart. Maybe all the happiness and joy you may have felt in the past is now overshadowed by bickering and fighting.

We've all asked ourselves at some point, "Is it worth it anymore?"

But don't give up!

Here are 5 ways to keep your long-distance relationship strong, exciting, and fulfilling:

1. Trust them

You need to feel confident that if your partner goes and hangs out with friends that they will maintain their loyalty, dignity, and respect for your feelings. If you're uncomfortable with something they're doing, tell them! But guilting them into feeling like they can't go out, do things, or have fun without you is a sure way to breed resentment.

2. Be independent

You need to have your OWN life too! Having activities, hobbies, and friends outside of your partner is a crucial part of making sure your relationship stays healthy and balanced. There's nothing worse than feeling like you're stuck at home waiting for your partner to call while they're off busy with something in their lives. It's normal and natural for each of you to form separate social circles due to the distance, but that doesn't mean your lives can't be complementary.

3. Make time for them

When we're NOT in a long-distance relationship, we sometimes take for granted all of the little things you might do together, such as eating breakfast, grocery shopping, watching TV, etc. This makes it even MORE important to make sure you allocate time to spend together, as busy as each of your lives may be. Maybe it's 30 minutes a day on the phone, maybe it's less, maybe it's more. You have to try HARDER than the normal couple because of the distance. Putting in the effort to communicate regularly will ensure you keep that emotional connection.

4. Have "dates" together

Just because you're apart doesn't mean you can't still have dates together! Pull up Skype and eat dinner together or watch something on Netflix and chat throughout. You can still bond even though you're not physically together.

5. Plan for your future together

There IS a light at the end of the tunnel! Your relationship probably won't be long-distance forever. Typically it will come to an end once school is over, work transfers your partner back home, they return from the military, etc. When times get tough, try to focus on the countdown until you're together. Remember, if you can get through this, your relationship will be strong as nails and you guys will be able to get through anything!

This issue I wrote a long time ago but it was just left in my draft adding on to it as time goes by. Now I thought ok it's time to publish it so that people out there having problems in their long distance relationships dont give up.

Stay bless. Love y'all xoxo ML

3 signs that shows they TRULY love you

Do you ever wonder if your partner truly loves you? Maybe they say it to you sometimes, but you still ask yourself how devoted they are to you. Will they be there through thick and thin? Will they be there for you not only at your best, but at your worst? Can they actually give you what you WANT in life?

There are 3 signs to know whether they truly love you:

1. It's not what they SAY, it's what they DO

Do your partner's actions align with their words? Making overtures about their love for you is nice but if they continue to do things that illustrate their lack of love for you, then what value are their words? You'll know you've got a keeper when you find it hard to remember the last time they said one thing, but did another.

2. They love you for YOU

Have you ever been in a relationship where it seemed like your partner was never satisfied with who you are? Maybe you're in a relationship like that now. No matter how hard you try, they've always got a derogatory comment about some way in which you can change or improve. Someone who truly loves you accepts you for who you are! It's never too late to stand up for yourself and tell them how you feel.

3. They ALWAYS consider your feelings

One of the clearest signs your partner truly loves you is that they show you genuine empathy. In fact, they often put your wants, needs, and feelings before their own. They would never dream of making a major life decision, especially one that impacts both of you, without consulting you first. True love is about compassion, integrity, and mutual respect.

Often times our partners DO truly love us but our own insecurities prevent the relationship from progressing.

Good virgin hair review - Teeyz Hair

I heard about virgin hair this time last year and I wanted one so bad. All I knew about it was that I could curl, straighten and dye it. I just wanted to invest in some good hair which would least me two - three years with good maintenance.
I search in my local afro shop and beauty shops to investigate and check the prices of bundles. More of the afro shop had human hair not virgin Peruvian. Is there a difference you ask? Yes there are some differences. First of all virgin hair are hairs that are processed and the mostly from Indian women. Virgin hairs can be dyed, straightened and curled the way you like it. On the other hand there is human hair, which you can straightened and curled it but it can't be dyed.
I'm a girl who gets bored of dull dark brown so I like to change the colour of my hair.
I saved up alot of money to get my first virgin Peruvian hair and it was from JP Hair in Amsterdam. I order three bundles of hair (inches 22, 24 and 26) from the company. It came in dark brown colour 1b/2. It started tangled alot especially at the back of my neck, it shredded like a mukafukka, which pissed me off because I spent so much money on it. I dyed it to light brown/blond because I get bored of dark brown colour.

After some months I found another hair company on facebook called Teeyz Hair but this time it was in my neck of the woods - Ireland. I was not sure if it was the right company, so I contacted her on blackberry messenger to ask her about her company, the quality of the hair she's selling and prices. She was easy to chat with, she answered all my inquiries and within a month of saving enough I purchased some hairs from Teeyz Hair. I order virgin Peruvian bodywaves in 1b (inches 12 and 14) and Mongolian bodywaves 1b (inches 16, 18, 20) There were affordable because they were on sale at that time . As soon as I received it I run my fingers through them - no tangling or shredding, I can't wait to wear it.
I got the 12, 14 and 16 inches ombre and had it done by my hairdresser. I got no tangling and minimum shredding. The only reason it shred was because my hairdresser cut the weft when sewing it, but the shredding wasn't dramatic. It feels new and the texture it still amazing after washing it. I dnt get much shredding and no tangling when I'm washing the hair extension. I also dyed the Mongolian 18 and 20 inches to a vibrant red/1b and made it into wig, which I'm rocking this spring/summer.
I'm waiting to install Mongolian kinky curly hair by Teeyz hair soon and review it.

I love Teeyz Hair so much that I recommended them to friends,  who have also ordered from them and says good things about the hair.
Teezy Hair ships worldwide, so no matter where you are they will ship your hair extensions to you.

First Problem - Family Relationship

Family Conflict

I have a horrible relationship with my step mom...She has issues with me and I have issues with her... I have gotten to a point where a million bucks will still not make me talk to her I just don't need her in my life and obviously she don't need me in hers but I'm really cool with my step siblings but I have no problem with them and they have no problem with me. Is it wrong for me to not be on good terms with their mom?

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I thought of starting a relationship blog because I have friends who usually ask my opinion about their love life and how they can deal with certain situations and it would be great to share it with the world. I know a lot of people deal with different types of love and relationships due different cultures and experiences. Some people can't come out and speak about their problems and this doesn't help the relationships, in fact it breaks, tears it apart.
I always give my honest opinion about everything I do and my close friends and loved one know what I am talking about when I say that. My male friends would usually talk to me about their relationship problem and I like giving them my advice from a female point of view and this advises comes from my past relationships and relationships around me. When my female ask about how to solve their relationship problems, I look at the males point of views (act like a lady think like a man) and being friends with males I got to study them a lot, that help me to be able to advice my fellow woman. By the way I haven't studied about relationships in college so I wouldn't say I am a relationship expert, it’s just my opinions from experiences in life.
This blog isn't just based on relationships between a men and women; it’s also about friends and family relationships too. This blog is not only about my advice it’s also about getting other people’s opinions too and it help the people to think about how to solve their problem in a good and healthy manner. So help each other build up a strong, healthy, happy and loving relationships.

This is a public blog so if f you don't want anyone to know you wrote the story, you can privately emails me your story to my Gmail account and I will take write your story to the public anonymously. I would also edit all the names used in story if I have to. This means you can read all the responses and no one would guess who you are. If you want to make your stories publicly you can post it on the blog as normal.

Tell us your love and relationship problems, we can try help you fix it and make it better.
